Commerce Bank has shown outstanding commitment to the goals of St. Louis Mosaic Project and has made above and beyond contributions to our partners with sponsorship's and provided outstanding dedication to support international communities.
- Actively supports Mosaic in its goals of high-skilled talent attraction and entrepreneurship, funding programs to deliver against these goals at local universities.
- Kemper Foundation funded initial 2012 study through St. Louis University and the World Trade Center on the Economics of attracting foreign born to STL, supported by the Mayor and County Executive
- Commerce Bank has sponsored at least 1 H1B or other visa per year for the last five years in hiring seasoned or highly skilled team members
As a Platinum level member, Commerce Bank will complete at least three of the following action items in addition to sponsoring at least one employee toward an H1-B visa or similar visa sponsorship:
- Commerce Bank has an Inclusion and Diversity Office that will partner with the St. Louis Mosaic Project by encouraging Commerce team members to become Ambassadors and give guidance to newcomers through the Professional Connector Program
- Commerce Bank will post jobs seeking more diverse applicants on the Mosaic website
- Commerce Bank will continue to hire bilingual staff members
