St. Louis Business Journal Champions for Diversity includes immigrants: Principal and co-founder of Tao + Lee Associates, Nalini Mahadevan, MLO Law and Diego Abente

One year ago, when the St. Louis Business Journal, decided to change the name and focus of our signature diversity awards program, I wasn't sure how it would be received by our readers and the broader community.

Would they agree with our new focus for the program? Would they continue to submit nominations?

My worries were mostly squashed with the 2021 Champions for Diversity & Inclusion Awards program, and the excitement has continued to build as we've worked to put together the 2022 program. I think it's safe to say that we all agree with the importance of showcasing individuals, companies and nonprofits who are truly championing the cause of making St. Louis a more inclusive place to live and work.
