St. Louis Mosaic Project launches, adds to Global Great Lakes Network
Global Detroit - July 11, 2013
When Global Detroit began its research in 2009, we learned a great deal from our friends in Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and around the country. But few, if any, had created a comprehensive regional economic development strategy that incorporated immigrants of all skills and backgrounds as economic assets upon which to build a more innovative, entrepreneurial, diverse and prosperous regional economy. Global Detroit was at the forefront of designing, advocating, and implementing a robust strategy that valued stabilizing and growing urban neighborhoods and jobs, as well as fueling the innovation tech economy, by tapping into immigrants.
