Innovation Friday: Multicultural Innovation With Vin Ko and Roberto Garcia

Positive change and innovation typically result from an intense focus on the big questions facing us all and people coming together to solve them. This often begins with having a platform for conversation and ideas to make a difference. At Startup Voodoo’s “Innovation Friday” series, we introduce change agents and thought leaders representing a wide range of industries and activities to tell their story of innovation and answer the big questions that they are trying to solve.

On May 29, we welcome a conversation on Multicultural Melting Pots: Ingredients & Opportunities For Innovation. Our speakers include Vin Ko of theSt. Louis Mosaic Project, which focuses on making St. Louis a hub for immigration and drives entrepreneurism and other initiatives for immigrants, and Roberto Garcia of smartphone app LISTO, which provides movie soundtracks in Spanish and synchronizes that track perfectly with the on-screen visuals.
