SSM Health joins the Mosaic Ambassador Company Program
(St. Louis, MO) May 13, 2019 - St. Louis Mosaic Project is proud to announce SSM Health as the newest Mosaic Ambassador Company. By joining the program, SSM Health reinforces its commitment to creating a welcoming work place for diverse and foreign born population.
As a Mosaic Ambassador Company, SSM Health will promote Mosaic Project’s programs among their employees and encourage them to become Mosaic Ambassadors. They also are dedicated to participate in the Mosaic Professional Connector Program. This means they will meet with foreign born job seekers, as well as encourage SSM Health international talents and their spouses to join the Women’s Connector Program or its counterpart program for men.
Additionally, SSM Health will be showcasing a variety of jobs on the Mosaic website to raise the visibility of the job openings amongst the international newcomers of the St. Louis region. They support internships for international students, and provide diversity and inclusion resources and training for their workforce. All of these efforts will increase the networking and job opportunities for the work-authorized foreign born population in the St. Louis area.
SSM Health also has a designated strategic resource to look at special product or service offerings for newly growing ethnic consumer populations. Beyond their current resources, SSM Health is committed to broadening the consumer base by partnering with local international organizations such as the International Institute of St. Louis.

The St. Louis Mosaic Project was launched in 2012 in response to an economic impact report, outlining St. Louis to be lagging in immigrant growth as well as highlighting the economic benefits of increasing its foreign-born population. The Mosaic Project is a regional initiative that is professionally managed by St. Louis Economic Development Partnership, World Trade Center St. Louis and a 32-member committee. Its goal is to transform St. Louis into the fastest growing major metropolitan area for immigration by 2025, to add 25,000 more foreign born to the region from 2016-2025 and to promote regional prosperity through immigration and innovation.
