St. Louis Business Journal reports Karlos Ramirez as new Board Chair of St. Louis Economic Development Partnership
Karlos Ramirez has been named the new chairperson of the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership's board of directors.
He replaces former Chair Dee Joyner, who retired as a senior vice president of Commerce Bank last year.
Ramirez is executive director of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan St. Louis, a post he's held since 2011.
"Karlos represents an important and growing part of our community,"Partnership CEO Sheila Sweeney said in a statement. "The Hispanic population is the fastest growing group in the St. Louis region. They are helping fuel job creation and economic vitality, our mission at the Partnership."
